Helping bring a greener vision to life
Our team is providing quantity surveying services for what will be the region’s first near zero energy development.
We got involved early. Working closely with designers we helped to find new process systems and materials to help this project meet it’s near zero targets. We also carried out market research and product research, as well as cost management.
Achieving cost efficiency and upholding project standards
With clear target costs in place, we’re now working alongside Hongkong Land through the construction phase. Our team is helping ensure this development stays on schedule and within budget.
Designing for energy efficiency
Sustainability is the heart of this project. To reduce gas use, the design team combined underfloor heating with air conditioning. As a result, a smart, energy-saving system with dual-supply equipment.
The building’s facade also plays a key role. It’s designed to keep heat in or out, depending on the season. Tight controls on air flow and shading help make the building even more efficient.
Work is underway on this major development in Shanghai, and we look forward to completion in 2025.
