Advising on cost, design and sustainability
We’re supporting a project that will shape the future of the site. How? With advice on cost, design and sustainability. Our local knowledge and experience are helping Paris plan and deliver with clarity and certainty.
100 years of progress, and a new chapter begins
The park first opened in 1923. Over the years, it has grown and changed. Now, as it turns 100, it is being transformed again.
The upgrades will include:
- Modernising buildings and façades
- Building new hotels, cafés, a conference centre and a public square
- Expanding gardens and green areas around the park
These changes will improve the experience for visitors.
Built on trust, backed by experience
We began supporting this project in 2015. Since then, we’ve helped the City of Paris manage costs, track progress and deliver on sustainability targets. In 2024, we were reappointed through to 2029, a clear sign that the city trusts us to stay with the project until it is complete.
Our work today includes:
- Visiting the site and speaking with staff and contractors
- Reviewing technical documents and checking contract compliance
- Reviewing actions and costs before they go ahead
- Giving advice on progress and practical next steps
- Creating tools to track delivery and measure performance
We are making sure the city has the insight it needs to make good decisions at every stage.
Supporting Paris’s energy targets
Large venues like this use a lot of energy. Paris aims to reduce its energy use by 40 percent by 2030. That supports a national goal of a 50 percent reduction by 2050. We’re helping by focusing on:
-
Clean energy: New solar panels and green roofs will lower energy use and support renewable infrastructure.
-
Smart land use: We are helping add 20,000m² of permeable soil and 52,000m² of green roofing. This will manage rainwater and support local wildlife.
-
Environmental standards: We are helping the site meet three green certifications:
- HQE for Pavilion 6 and the hotel
- BREEAM for Pavilion 7
- Effinergie+ for the hotel complex
A rooftop farm on Pavilion 6 will also grow up to 200kg of fruit and vegetables each year. It will be one of the largest rooftop farms in Europe.
A greener, better-connected part of Paris
This is not just a refurbishment. It’s a major investment in a greener, more sustainable Paris.
The project will:
- Improve the site for visitors
- Create more space for nature
- Help Paris attract global events
- Provide public areas for the city to enjoy
With clear advice and steady delivery, we are helping Paris move forward with confidence and deliver a project with long-term value.
