Sustainability

Sustainability isn’t an add-on for us. It’s how we work, every day. Our experts support clients across the globe to cut carbon, plan smarter, and deliver greener buildings.

From fossil fuel-free offices to carbon estimating tools, our progress is both corporate and client-focused.

Four clear priorities

Our global sustainability programme is built around four objectives:

  • Cut emissions in our own business
  • Help clients do the same
  • Build in-house capability in every region
  • Report our impact with honesty and clarity

These aren’t aspirations. They’re action points. And they’re already happening.

What have we achieved?

In 2023, we published our first global report on scope one and two carbon emissions. Our total footprint was 2,777 tonnes of CO₂, that’s 5% lower than the average for similar office space in our markets. UK offices cut their carbon despite more people returning. We trained teams in carbon estimating and backed net zero initiatives across our global network.

What’s next?

How do you build momentum on sustainability? By setting bigger goals.

We’re extending our emissions analysis across our global business. We’re training every region in carbon estimating and rolling out the service worldwide. All new office spaces must have fossil fuel-free heating. That’s a clear commitment to change.

Reducing waste, too

Carbon is just one part of the picture. In the UAE, we joined Emirates Nature-WWF to tackle plastic pollution. Together, we analysed 2,000 kg of waste. Why? To help shape future policy and cut plastic leakage into nature by 50% by 2030.

Helping clients reach net zero

Our role goes beyond reporting our own numbers. We help clients understand their emissions, plan reductions, and meet net zero targets. Whether it’s training, tools or delivery, we bring certainty to a complex transition. We’re not just preparing for a greener future; we’re helping shape it.
