Stephen Law, Director of Project Management, UK
I joined Currie & Brown in 1997, initially working in the Portsmouth office. Moving through the Crawley (now Haywards Heath), London and Redbourn (Milton Keynes) offices, I was able to broaden my knowledge of the industry and progressed to become director for project management. During this time, I worked on a number of major projects for blue chip clients, including an award-winning commercial development, delivering in collaboration with some of the biggest names in the industry.
I departed for the sunnier shores of Dubai in 2006, and spent a couple of years heading up technical project delivery for a real estate developer. My next move was joining Sweett Group in 2011, spending a further three years in their Dubai office working with a team of around 25 project managers. Here, I was exposed to large-scale retail and commercial developments across the UAE and wider Middle East.
In April 2014 I packed my suitcases once again and returned to London, working as a director in Sweett Group's project management team. I have since taken on the challenge of heading up the Cambridge office, and very much look forward to the opportunities that will be available to me and other staff now that I have come full circle and am once again working for Currie & Brown following the acquisition in September 2016.
