Leading asset management specialist Currie & Brown has been appointed to the English Partnerships Project and Cost Management Consultants Panel 2008-2012. The new framework combines cost and project management services, which were previously separate frameworks, into one panel for the next four years.
The appointment follows a highly competitive tender process that started with 32 bidders and has resulted in seven firms being appointed to the panel. As part of the new framework, Currie & Brown are currently tendering to offer procurement management services on the Blackwall Reach Regeneration project.
Although set up primarily to meet the needs of national regeneration agency, English Partnerships, the new panel will also be available to its Partner organisations. These include urban regeneration and development companies, regional development agencies, local authorities, the Housing Corporation and the Olympic Delivery Authority. At present around 60 Partner organisations are procuring through the English Partnerships framework.
Graham Waring, Director of Currie & Brown's Milton Keynes office and project leader for the firm said:
"We are delighted to have been successful in securing appointment to the English Partnerships Panel after such a competitive tender process. We believe that the team at Currie & Brown delivers a combination of experience with real strength and depth of specialist expertise."
Panels Manager Deborah Vogwell, Senior Project Manager in English Partnerships National Consultancy Unit, commented "We feel we now have in place a strong panel that will be an excellent resource for us and our partners. Successful bidders showed great depth of understanding of the needs of our business."
In recent years Currie & Brown has advised English Partnerships on the Hatfield Town Centre and Harlow Gateway regeneration and development projects.
