Currie & Brown, the international asset management specialist, has been appointed to provide strategic cost consulting and project control services for the prestigious $1.4 billion Wachovia Bank First Street Cultural Campus mixed use development in Charlotte, North Carolina.
When completed in 2010, the project will deliver a mixed development of buildings of cultural, educational and residential value in an area of three million square feet. The space development will include a 48 story LEED certified Wachovia Tower, two museums, a 350 seat auditorium, and a 42 story residential building with 300 luxury condominiums and a Wake Forestís Babcock School of Management. There is a clear emphasis on the arts with the addition of an Afro-American Cultural Centre and a Knight Performing Arts Theatre.
